In the Image Gallery above you can see pictures of the main treatment facility, the Adult Independent Living Area conveniently located on the south end of River Centre Clinic's second floor and the Adolescent Residential Program shared rooms and common living area. The shared rooms in both the adult and adolescent living space are brightly colored and have their own bathroom. The common living area has an entertainment center, high-speed Internet access, a kitchen, laundry facilities and phone availability during non-program hours.
The Partial Hospitalization level of care, combined with this college dormitory style living, provides enough intensity, structure and safety to be effective without the disadvantages of a restrictive hospital environment. The Adolescent Residential Program offers 24-hour care, 7 days a week and provides the high level of intensity, structure, safety and monitoring necessary for adolescents with eating disorders. The adolescent and adult programs are economical and effective alternatives to inpatient treatment for the vast majority of those suffering from serious eating disorders.
